That is the whole price. No plans, no seats, no minimums, no annual contract.
What counts
An envelope is one send: one or more documents going to one or more signers together. You are charged once, when it is sent, however many people sign it and however many pages it has.
Passed through at cost: SMS codes for signer authentication, billed at the carrier's price rounded up to the cent and shown per message on your usage page.

Your cap, your call
Set a monthly dollar cap on your account. When your usage reaches it, live sends return a clear error (usage_cap_reached) until the next month or until you raise it. Test mode is never capped.
You can see your usage as it happens on the dashboard and from GET /v1/usage. Those are the same numbers we bill from.
How billing works
- Usage is metered as you send and billed monthly to the card on file through Stripe.
- Close your account in the dashboard or by email. No call, no notice period; billing stops at the end of that month. For 30 days after closing you can still export every finished document and audit record, free.
- If we ever raise the price, we email you at least 30 days before. Envelopes sent before the change are billed at the old price.
- A charge looks wrong? Write to billing@sealpost.app within 60 days and we will go through the usage record with you.

Questions people ask
Is there a free tier?
Test mode is free and unlimited, and it behaves exactly like live: same API, same webhooks, same sealed PDF with a "test" watermark. You pay only when a real document goes to a real person.
Do you charge per signer or per page?
No. One envelope is $1 whether it has one signer or ten, one page or two hundred.
What about volume discounts?
Not today. The price is the same for everyone. If you expect more than 10,000 envelopes a month, write to us and we will talk about it, but nothing on this page changes for anyone who does not.
Can I get an annual contract?
No, on purpose. You pay monthly for what you sent and can leave whenever you like.
Can I take my documents with me?
Yes, any time, by API or in bulk from the dashboard, and for 30 days after you close your account. Export is free.
